Scorpio Time
Management
Scorpio is a touch screen based punch clock system. Employees
no longer need to carry swipe cards or punch
a time card, they simply choose their name from a list and
punch in their PIN number. The system steps users through their
punches for the day by enabling or disabling buttons as
they proceed through their daily shift. Users are
able to print their time card at any time. Further validation
is achieved through the use of cameras. When a
user punches in their PIN number, their account is validated
and when successfully validated, the users image is captured.
This image is time stamped and coincides with the
action at that time. This feature eliminates "mass" punching
by identifying the action with the employee who is
performing the action at that time.
The main clock screen is below on the left with the
main action screen shown below on the right. The
image capture is shown on this screen.

The
main Administration screen:
Payroll
All
data collected can be summarized on whatever frequency is
required for payroll purposes. The payroll module
can accomodate employee banked hours, rates, sick time,
vacation, etc. Data extracts can be created for specific
payroll applications that may already be in use
internally.
Scheduling
Scorpio contains a scheduling module to
allow administrators and supervisors to set up employee work
schedules. Based
on these schedules, reporting can be
made available to track actual time vs. scheduled time
to measure employee punctuality. Schedules can
be copied from week to week to reduce keying time for
Supervisors and Administrators.
Real time snap shot
This feature allows a Supervisor or
Administrator to view a snap shot of employee status at any
time. They can see who is punched in/out, on break,
lunch, etc.
Messaging
The messaging module provides
Supervisors and Administrators with the ability to send
message or annoucements to all employees, groups of employees
or specific employees. Messages can be sent to employees
that will appear the next time they punch in. Messages
can be one time view or critical where they appear everytime
the employee punches in until it is removed by a Supervisor or
Administrator. This is a useful feature to quickly
notify all staff or if a particular employee needs to be
notified or contacted for a particular reason.
Image Validation
All transactions are
logged with a corresponding image for validation
purposes. This enables Supervisors and
Administrators to verify that the employee performing the
punch is the employee that is being punched in or out.
This module has full searching capabilities with
reporting that can be printed out and presented to an
employee when disputing a particular action.
Scheduling
Scorpio contains a
scheduling module to allow administrators and supervisors to
set up employee work schedules. Based on these
schedules, reporting can be made available to track actual time
vs. scheduled time to measure employee punctuality.
Schedules can be copied from week to week to reduce keying
time for Supervisors and Administrators.
